Summary funding statements issued

We have sent a summary funding statement to all members showing the scheme's financial position at 31 March 2010 for the Harmsworth Pension Scheme and the DMGT AVC Plan.

Members warned about pension unlocking schemes

Schemes that offer you the chance to cash in your pension early are not always in your best interests. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has issued a warning about pension unlocking schemes that are designed to provide early access to your pension funds.

DMGT Pensions "Peak Freaks"

A group of us in the pensions team are raising money for the Mitchemp Trust by trekking the peaks. The challenge is to climb 10 of the highest mountains in the Brecon Beacons in 10 hours and get back before the pub shuts!

The Mitchemp Trust is a charity whose vision is "To give young people the hope, confidence and life skills to meet the challenges in their lives and together build trust and motivation through a journey of experience, adventure and fun."
