Retirement account

If you have bought an annuity with your retirement account, the provider will be responsible for paying your pension.

Pre-April 2011 pension

DMGT Pensions will pay your pension instead of your payroll department. We will tax your pension through PAYE, just like your salary has been, although you will not have to pay National Insurance contributions.

We will pay your pension monthly, in advance, directly into your bank account. After we have taken tax off, your net pension will be in your account on the 1st of each month. If the first is a weekend or British bank holiday then your pension will be paid on the last working day of the previous month.

You can view your payslip online by signing in to the members area. Your payslip confirms the pension we have paid you and the tax we have taken off. We will send you a payslip if your pension changes by more than £1 from one month to the next.

We will send you a P60 slip each year automatically.

If any correspondence we send you is returned to us we may have to stop paying your pension so please keep us informed of your current address.

If you have any queries about your pension please call us on 020 7395 7273.
